Acceptance of these Terms
By accessing or using the Site or Service you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy & Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
Eligibility & Children
The Service is intended for users aged 13 years or older. If you are between 13 and 18 you may only use the Service with parental or guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (COPPA compliance for U.S. users).
For US Users: By using our Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are accessing the Service from a state that requires parental consent for minors, such consent must be obtained.
Account registration & security
We use password-less "magic links" sent to your email. You are responsible for:
- maintaining control of your email account; and
- all actions taken through any magic link we send.
Licence to use the Service
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to access the Service for your internal educational or business purposes only. You may not:
- copy or resell the Service;
- reverse-engineer or circumvent security;
- use the Service to create competing products.
Ownership of User Content
You retain all intellectual-property rights in your worksheets and grant us a non-exclusive worldwide licence solely to host, process and display your User Content in order to provide the Service. Files are stored encrypted at rest and are automatically deleted 30 days after upload (unless you choose to retain them).
Our intellectual property
All software, text and graphics on the Site, and the "AI Worksheet Converter" name and logo, are our property or that of our licensors (including OpenAI). No rights are transferred to you except as expressly set out in these Terms.
Plans, pricing & payment
Free plan – 3 conversions, no credit-card required.
Premium subscription – unlimited conversions for the recurring fee shown on the Pricing page in GBP or USD (tax inclusive where required). You authorise us (via Stripe) to take monthly recurring payments until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time from your Stripe customer portal or by contacting us. Upon cancellation you will continue to have Premium access until the end of the paid-up period; no partial refunds are given.
UK/EU Consumers: you have a 14-day "cooling-off" right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Because the Service is "digital content supplied immediately", you expressly consent to immediate supply and acknowledge that the cooling-off right ends once conversion begins.
US Consumers: You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. Some states provide additional consumer protections - please check your local state laws. For California residents: you have the right to cancel within 72 hours of purchase for digital services under California Civil Code Section 1689.5.
Performance & availability
We aim for 99% monthly uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Planned maintenance will be announced on the Site when practicable.
Prohibited uses
You agree not to upload or generate content that is illegal, infringing, obscene, harassing or otherwise violates any law or these Terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this clause.
Data protection & privacy
We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. For US users, we also comply with applicable state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA) where applicable.
Please review our Privacy & Cookie Policy for details of what we collect, why and your rights. US residents may have additional rights under state privacy laws.
Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement). Some U.S. states and other jurisdictions do not allow disclaimers of implied warranties; in such cases our warranty is limited to the minimum permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
UK/EU Users: Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
US Users: Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the below limitations may not apply to you.
Subject to the foregoing, our total aggregate liability to you (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) shall not exceed (a) $100 USD / £100 GBP; or (b) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability – whichever is higher.
Indemnity
You shall indemnify and hold us (and our officers, directors, employees and agents) harmless from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Service.
International use & export controls
You are responsible for compliance with local laws. The Service and underlying technology may be subject to UK and U.S. export control laws; you agree not to export, re-export or use the Service in violation of such laws.
Governing law & jurisdiction
For UK/EU Users: These Terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of England & Wales. The courts of England & Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the EU you may also bring proceedings in your country of residence.
For US Users: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that you may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim falls within that court's jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver (US Users): You agree that any arbitration or court proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between us and you individually. You waive any right to participate in any class action or representative proceeding, except where such waiver is prohibited by law.
Alternative dispute resolution
UK/EU Consumers: If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint, you may use the UK "Online Dispute Resolution" platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
US Consumers: Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may commence arbitration proceedings. California residents may also contact the California Attorney General's Office at https://oag.ca.gov/.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified on the Site or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
